Mondrian Inspired Statement Ring in Sterling Silver

One of the subjects we studied at school was art history. One of the artists we studied though was Mondrian and his work really spoke to me, particularly his New York series.  Mondrian is still one of my favorite artists and so when the theme for a group I belong to (Ring A Month) was Your Favorite Artist, I knew I was going to use Mondrian as my inspiration. So here is my tribute to him and his work. Made from solid sterling silver, the ring is simple in design, the bars are raised and the blocks are recessed and it is polished with a matte finish.
